MELROSE SPRING 2000 EASTER BONNET PARADE

Another happy Easter was observed at St. Patrick's in Melrose and another Easter Bonnet Parade was a huge success.

Each year the bonnets increase in numbers throughout the church, so that it looks like each pew is sporting a bouquet of ribbons and pretty flowers.

One of the best parts of the parade are all the little girls who take part in the celebration. Each year more and more little women are joining in on the color and the fun. Waltzing around the social hall hand in hand with an aunt, a mother, a grandmother-the pretty little ladies in their pretty little hats win prizes from the judges and add to their memories of Easter Sundays in Melrose.
